1. Check release availability
Visit the CorzClient download page first. The download button redirects to the user-supplied CorzClient.jar on Codeberg. Confirm the source and requirements before installing.
2. Back up your game
Close Minecraft before changing files. Copy your worlds, resource packs and configuration to a separate backup folder. Create a dedicated launcher profile so you can return to your existing setup.
3. Match the release requirements
The supplied file declares Fabric Loader 0.16.5 or newer. A specific Minecraft version is not declared. Check the exact Minecraft version, operating system, Java runtime and mod loader listed by the release publisher. Similar version numbers do not guarantee compatibility.
4. Follow the release instructions
Use the installation method supplied with the actual release. A loader-specific mod and a standalone launcher require different steps; do not assume that every file belongs in a mods folder. Never disable security tools just to make an unknown file run.
Before joining a multiplayer server, read its rules on client modifications and confirm which changes are permitted.
5. Troubleshoot one change at a time
If the game fails to launch, start with a clean profile and the required loader version. Remove conflicting modifications, inspect the launcher log and restore your backup if needed. Remove account tokens, usernames or other personal details before sharing logs.
Check whether a release and its requirements are available.
