Check the file and its requirements
The download page links to CorzClient.jar on Codeberg. The supplied file declares version 1.0.0 and Fabric Loader 0.16.5 or newer in its mod metadata. It does not declare an exact Minecraft version or Java version. Confirm those details with the publisher before choosing a launcher profile. A newer loader alone does not guarantee that a mod supports your game version.
This guide describes preparation and a normal Fabric mod workflow. It does not establish that the file is safe or compatible, and the interface shown on this website is an interactive preview.
Back up your existing profile
Close the game and launcher before changing files. Make a copy of your saves, resource packs, screenshots and configuration. Keep that copy outside the profile you are changing. A separate game directory makes it easier to identify conflicts and return to your existing installation.
In a launcher that supports instances, create a dedicated instance rather than adding the mod to every profile. Give it a clear name and record the exact Minecraft, Fabric Loader and Java versions you selected.
Install using the publisher’s instructions
- Obtain the Minecraft and Java versions required by the publisher. If those requirements are unavailable, pause installation rather than guessing.
- Prepare the matching Fabric profile and launch it once without extra modifications. Confirm that the unmodified profile starts normally.
- For a standard Fabric mod release, place the supplied JAR in that profile’s mods directory. Follow any additional dependency instructions provided with the release. Do not assume that Fabric API or another library is required unless it is actually listed.
- Start that profile and review the launcher log. If it stops with an error, use the troubleshooting checklist before adding other mods.
Keep the JAR as a JAR; extracting it is not part of a typical mod installation. Do not run an unknown file simply because it has a familiar name, and do not disable security software to make an installation proceed.
Before joining a server
Check the server’s rules on modifications and automation. A module guide is not a statement of server approval. Start with a clean configuration and only enable settings whose effects you understand. The website’s switches change the browser preview, not the installed client.
Keep a record of updates
When replacing a mod, close Minecraft first and keep only the release files needed for that profile. Two versions of the same mod can cause duplicate-mod errors. Back up your configuration before updating and check whether the new release changes its requirements.
